Reflection Blog Post - COMM 351

While setting this portfolio page up has been both fun and challenging in its own way, I am super happy to have a lot of information about me all in one place. I felt as if the easiest part of setting up my Wix was the very first thing, picking out a layout. Once you find the layout that fits you best, building upon it is super easy. The most challenging part of creating my Wix account was the unknown. I had never even opened one before so not knowing what to do or how to do it was challenging. Thankfully, with the provided layouts and suggestions by Wix, every step is becoming easier. I am still in no way a professional and have LOTS of learning to do as this project continues.

Since I first created this Wix page a few semesters ago, my professional online confidence has grown. Each class has taught me something new on how to grow and I am thankful for that. I do not have a lot of confidence as I know there is room to grow, but I feel as if I have created a beautidul and professional website to describle myself perfectly.

Most of my social media platforms are private as they are a place for my close friends and family to watch my life unfold. However, I have started venturing out to the professional side of social media and putting myself out there more. Places like LinkedIn are great resources for the future and it is a goal of mine to grow that this year. I am not a person that doesn't stop growing or evolving one I meet a certain goal set for myself. I know that something can always be better and am excited to grow that social media aspect.

The only questions I have at this time are how to better organize my different project/classes/blog posts. Since creating this Wix, I have added projects and classes to the mix, making it a little disorganized. I would love to find a better way to organize everything this semester.

Since I am curating this eportfolio instead of creating for this class, I have made some minor tweeks. I have updated my 'About Me' and Resume as a few things have changed and made sure everything is presentable. I also set up categories for my blog posts, hopefully creating some organiation.
